A New Wave of Aliyah from Ethiopia is Coming!
Most Ethiopian Jews returned to Israel in 1992. Since that time, the ICEJ has supported the Ethiopian Aliyah and absorption in Israel. However, many Jews in Ethiopia are still waiting for their journey home.
In November of 2015 a decision was made by the Israeli government to bring the remainder home. Our help is needed to gradually and steadily help them move to Israel and also to adapt to the new cultural environment once they arrive.
